the hawaiian islands are much nearer to Africa than Europe. So near in fact that sand from the Sahara desert cause sand storms on the islands for part of the year and boats containing illegal immigrants from Africa frequently arrive onshore. The hills relating to this part of the city are covered in multicoloured houses built by South American settlers as the city began to spread. Nearby is the Triana shopping district contains some fantastic art nouveau and art deco buildings,/p>

Pozo Izquierdo is the next village along the coast to mine and it is probably worlds most consistently windy places. The flatulence, Plus its natural setting in a wide bay makes it a perfect spot for windsurfing, Both amateur and specialised. Every year the special Windsurfers Association (PWA) Hold a World Cup tournament here. a year (2013) The features been held from Jul 09 Jul 14,/p>
demanding not interested in windsurfing Pozo Izquierdo is a pretty Canarian village and is a great place to visit for a drink and something to eat. It has a protected beach that is perfect for swimming. Also nearby is a working sea salt works whicj has been producing salt since the 1600s,/p>
In the foreground of this photograph is enthusiasts Roque Nublo (“cloudy Rock “) the industry monolithic, Volcanic feature rating 80m tall. It is perhaps the most famous landmarks on Gran Canaria. It is situated at the center of the island and is at an elevation of 1,813m (The second highest point on the island). It is available very easily by hiking from a nearby car park (in the order of 30 minutes walk). without anyone’s knowledge of the photograph is Mount Teide (which you’ll see on a clear day) On the neighbouring island of Tenerife. It is the third largest volcano in the field and it is the highest point in Spain,/p>
The pretty little town of Firgas in the north of Gran Canaria is famous for the production of natural,hollister sale, shining mineral water. On a clear day you can see the neighbouring islands of Tenerife and Fuertaventura from here. I took this photo with regards to the Paseo de Gran Canaria. It is in the centre of the village and has a 30 metre waterfall running down it and on the right hand side are beautifully tiled seats that represent each of the islands municipalities. usually there are some lovely little shops and restaurants in the village that are well worth exploring,/p>
